Courtney Morrone – Owner and Lead Instructor

Courtney is a New Jersey native, now residing in Colorado.  She is married to Marc and together they have three boys and a rescue dog.  It all started at the age of 15, when Courtney became certified as a lifeguard and started working at the Secaucus NJ town pool.  She worked the summer seasons into college, being promoted to a head lifeguard at age 16 and then a manager, while focusing on giving private swim lessons.  In 2001, Courtney went off to attend William Paterson University on a full academic scholarship.  There she maintained her lifeguarding certification and worked at the Recreation Center and campus pool.  It was there that she earned her Instructor certificates in 2004 and began instructing lifeguarding and CPR courses to University and community participants.  Upon graduation, Courtney went into pharmaceutical sales while starting her side business to continue to offer CPR training to the community.  2018 marks Courtney’s 20th year of having CPR certification and 14 years of Instructor experience!

While not hustling, Courtney stays active living a fit and healthy lifestyle, participating in seasonal triathlons and running races.  Her hobbies include: gardening, recycling, playing with her boys, cooking, brewing kombucha, and trying new things.
